Hutton is a lifesaver for women 35 and up!
This video is made to go with your face disc, a makeup kit designed for mature or maturing women. First of all, the face disc can easily make a woman look her absolute BEST and there are color-coded circles for blush, shadow, concealer, etc. But Hutton goes beyond that to show how the right shadowing can actually provide an instant illusion of a face-lift, etc. You can...

What a scam!
I happen to come across this dvd, it was passed on to me by a friend. Being a make-up artist myself, I'm always interested in other people's methods on make-up. So I watched this disc very attentivly, with an open mind. Hutton claims that all the products in the "face disc" are naturel with very low pigment" to keep a fresh, natural look. First of all, I...

Hutton is a lifesaver for women 35 and up!, March 11, 2007
This review is from: Lauren Hutton Face Disc Instructional Video (VHS Tape)
This video is made to go with your face disc, a makeup kit designed for mature or maturing women. First of all, the face disc can easily make a woman look her absolute BEST and there are color-coded circles for blush, shadow, concealer, etc. But Hutton goes beyond that to show how the right shadowing can actually provide an instant illusion of a face-lift, etc. You can find the face disc in many venues but I think the instructional video is really a must as well. Female friends swear by this stuff and they look noticably better; the results can be dramatic. Oh,yes...for those who prefer the natural look, you can tailor the makeup to your preferences, perhaps simply covering up any age spots, blemishes or uneven skin tone, adding a light touch of blush and a dusting of shadow over your eyes. For those who want a more dramatic look, you have that option as well.

What a scam!, January 19, 2011
This review is from: Lauren Hutton Face Disc Instructional Video (VHS Tape)
I happen to come across this dvd, it was passed on to me by a friend. Being a make-up artist myself, I'm always interested in other people's methods on make-up. So I watched this disc very attentivly, with an open mind. Hutton claims that all the products in the "face disc" are naturel with very low pigment" to keep a fresh, natural look. First of all, I noticed how she uses some strange methods for applying the product; likking brush, dipping brush in product, applying on face, likking brush again,.. she's practically eating make-up. I've studied her every move and I have NEVER seen such a ridiculous result. The before and after were EXACTLY the same! The only thing they did is make her skin look a bit more coral-reddish with computer- postproduction afterwards, which has nothing to do with make-up. You can't see a thing of the eyeliner, blush, concealer, powder, highlighter or eyeshadow she uses. The crazy thing is, she says it herself: "It's invisible make-up", she claims. Exactly! So invisible, that you better not bother using anything at all. I would not recommend buying this product, nor watching the dvd to a soul!
