I purchased Katie the Kitten Fairy and Lauren the Puppy Fairy to use with my R.E.A.D. group at a local elementary school. Both books were quickly chosen to read. The children seemed to really enjoy them and I look forward to purchasing more of this series to use with my R.E.A.D. students next year.

My 6 year old daughter is in 1st grade and loves this book series. She catches herself reading longer than the required time for her homework. I'm all for her being interested in reading and not just any reading but good stories for her age. I'm amazed she started reading these chapter books in Kindergarten. She also loves animals. There is also a series for colors (which we also have) and weather (which she's getting for Christmas).

It's a good book. Makes me want to read more Rainbow Fairy stories.

My daughter asked for this book as part of her 9th birthday. She has read some of these fairy books and really likes them.
She will be excited.
