I just purchased a 17.3" Toshiba Satellite laptop and did not realize how difficult it would be to find a sleeve that would fit it. After a lot of web searching and a lot of careful measuring, I ordered this bag. I was concerned my laptop would be too thick to fit in. It turns out it fits perfectly; it's not too snug, just right. And the quality of the bag is pretty good too.

I have a 17" Dell Precision Mobile WorkStation M6500. Its dimensions are 15.4"/393mm wide x 11.0"/280.5mm deep x 1.5"/38.5mm and it weighs 8.4 lbs (not counting the huge power brick). I purchased a Targus CPT700US rolling case to carry the laptop, but it is unfortunately too large for the overhead bin in American Eagle's Embraer commuter jets that I frequently fly on. This little sleeve case provides a great solution for my carry-on problem. It is just the right size to hold my laptop with accessories and to slip into the padded laptop compartment of my rolling case. When I gate check my rolling Targus case (with my overnight essentials), I simply pull the sleeve case out to securely carry the laptop onto the plane. The neoprene construction provides light padding, is sturdy enough to carry my heavy laptop, and compact enough to easily fit in the overhead, or as I prefer, under the seat. The side zipper compartment is large enough to accommodate my HUGE power brick, my phone charger and a paperback. The design is feminine without looking juvenile.

There are two minor things that could be improved: The first would be a better sliding shoulder strap pad. The thin nubby rubber pad does little to alleviate shoulder fatigue. However, this is a fairly insignificant issue for me because I only carry the bag for limited distances: from the gate onto the plane, from the gate to the baggage claim, and to and from my car when I take my laptop home from work. If it becomes a problem, the thin pad could be readily replaced with a better pad from one of my other black shoulder bags. The second improvement would be to put the rougher "hook" side of the Velcro on the flap instead of the side of the bag. If you are not paying attention and allow the flap to slip inside the case, the hook portion of the Velcro is exposed and can snag delicate clothing. Nonetheless, I give the bag 5 stars because I consider both issues minor quibbles.

I have owned this bag for less than a year and the zipper/strap hook have pulled out from the bag fabric. It still works, but looks worn. I use this bag on few occasions (1-2 times/month) for 70-100 mile road trips.

The feel and versatility are great for what I need/want. The space in the pockets is sufficient to hold my mouse and power supply.

I recently purchased my first laptop. A Toshiba Qosmio with a 17.3 inch screen.
Most bags I looked at in the stores were for 15 inch, or they were just plain ugly.
This bag fits perfectly and is very stylish.

It even has an exttra pocket on the back of the bag for your power source and a mouse. Or a book.

I like it a lot.

Bought this as a gift for a friend's Alienware m17x. I wasn't really sure it would fit because the m17x is over 2" thick. Luckily, the neoprene material is extremely stretchy and can fit the laptop without any squeezing.

This is a really good laptop bag. It looks exactly how it does on the internet, there are no surprise mishaps. My 17'' laptop fits perfectly inside of it, the adjustable strap is stirdy and won't break. i was just so excited when it arrived. I love this product

I got this bag for my daughter. She was looking at a similar item to use as just a protector for her computer for when she put it in suitcase of whatever. This has a strap so she can use this as a stand alone bag. it is more stylish than a basic one color sleeve and has a pocket for adapter and seems to be well made. This item was perfect for her. It arrived very promptly also.

Great bag. Little lightweight, but for price it is wonderful. Gave it to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it!

I ordered this bag to hold my 17.5 laptop, and it works perfect. The material is so soft yet durable. It looks great. I like the design on the front too. I would recommend this purchase.

Glad that I bought this sleeve and I wish I bought this before I got Laurex's messenger bag; cheaper, does what I need, and not humongous. I was afraid that my HP Pavilion dv7 wouldn't fit this sleeve but it fits perfectly fine. The material inside is soft and slightly padded. I can't say anything about durability since I haven't used this bag for a long time. The most I've used it was bringing it to class for a few weeks. The pocket on the side can hold my bulky charger and mouse but that's probably close to the max number of things I could put in there.
