I ordered this sleeve/bag for my work laptop, a new 17" MacBookPro. It was difficult to find something to fit such a large laptop that wasn't extraordinarily expensive and ugly. I chose this product because it seemed to be what I wanted and I liked the colors and design on the side.

The fit is supposed to be snug but I could have gotten away with the smaller size. I bought the recommended size and have 3" of slack in the width and the same in height and depth.

What annoys me most about this bag is that the accessories pocket is on the opposite side as the flower design which makes no sense. If you buy this bag it's because you like the design and are likely going to carry it with the design facing away from your body. That leaves the accessories pocket facing your body, which if you store your powercord or other somewhat bulky materials in it, it will constantly be bumping into your hip or side.

The other major design flaw is the placement of the handles. The handles cannot be used when the bag is zipped closed because the handles are attached on the inside. All handling has to be done with the shoulder strap which is not at all convenient when moving the bag in/out of a car or doing anything else that involves putting it down and picking it back up.

I do not recommend this product as a safe or convenient sleeve/bag for your laptop. I wish I had returned it.

Great bag for the price. Nice padding and dark gunmetal gray background that won't show dirt easily, the flower design is actually prettier in person than it looks on-line. Was hard to find a slim, neoprene, creative looking, 17" case with both carry handles and a shoulder strap...so this was a good find!

Just wish the shoulder strap was padded though. I might purchase one separately because my 17" HP Pavilion is heavy.

I bought this about 6mos ago for a 17.3" Dell Inspiron 17R. I had a hard time finding an attractive bag large enough for my computer. I don't recommend it for everyday use as a laptop tote, but it's fine as a sleeve for carrying your laptop in another bag/case.

POCKETS/MATERIAL not designed for most accessories. Almost every item I've had in the pocket (power-cable, mouse, small book, etc) pokes out, creating weird-looking bulges in the neoprene. It also doesn't protect items that bulge out. With only a mouse and flash drive in the pocket, the pressure from the fabric broke the scroll wheel on the mouse. And even though the fabric stretches, the glued-together seams do not, and are now coming apart.

HANDLES/ZIPPER/FLAP not user friendly. The zipper description is wrong-"Zipper pulls from top-left corner to bottom-right, allowing easy access to your laptop from the top or side". The zipper pulls start about 2/3 up the sides, not the bottom corners, and there's no side access. The zippers are on the outside, while the handles are sewn on the inside. To use them, you pull out the handles, then pull both zippers toward the middle; The zippers don't meet, they are stopped by the handles. This leaves 6" gap right in the middle, which is mostly covered by the flap. It is extremely inconvenient and has caused wear on the the zipper's teeth.

SHOULDER STRAP very uncomfortable. It also loosens up on it's own, so I was constantly adjusting the length. The grip thing that looks like padding is actually pretty hard plastic with little teeth covering the underside. One day, I made the mistake of wearing a tanktop and carried the bag for about 10 minutes. Not only was it super uncomfortable (almost painful), it left ugly indents in my shoulder that lasted for over an hour. Someone actually asked if I had road rash from an accident or something.

I don't even use it anymore, and I would not buy it again.

I bought this bag for my 17.3" HP Pavillion laptop. After an extensive search this was one of the few bags that wasn't black that my laptop would fit into. The bag is nicely padded, and my computer fits in snuggly with a little 'wiggle' room. The pocket on the side has plenty of room for the power cord.

I found that the laptop sleeve I received last year as a gift was useless without a handle or strap to carry it with--it was VERY pretty--but useless. I need a cane to walk so I couldn't exactly balance it on my head, either. The Laurex Laptop Sleeve comes with both, a shoulder strap and small handles. Don't panic when you get it, the handles are tucked inside, and, it has a handy, roomy zippered pocket to carry a mouse or other objects.
The only feature that's keeping me from giving the sleeve 5 stars is its vulnerability to rain or damage from a bump.Otherwise, I recommend you buy it; it's lightweight, pretty, soft, and comfortable.
But, best of all, it has straps and a handle! I don't know how people can manage without those!

It's actually not easy to find a good quality 17" laptop bag that can also be used for other purposes...and still look stylish!

This was a birthday present for a really good friend who likes her stuff with personality/sophistication, stylish but simple. I've looked all over the web and finally came across this one here - It is all of the above! The typical nylon/leather laptop bags are so played out and too common. But this, it'll be a head-turner, as it sets you apart from the flocks!

My girlfriend picked out this sleeve for the 17.3 inch Acer notebook I bought. She wanted it for when she needs to take the Acer. She loves it. Pockets are a nice touch and deep. Solid design. Good deal and buy.
