Product Description

This newly-designed Nylon/PVC 1680D notebook/messenger bag made of water-repellant material will protect your laptop and secure it with Velcro. The laptop compartment is padded for extra security. The adjustable shoulder strap ranges from 35"" to 59"" long and is decorated with brass rings. There is a full-sized front pocket, a main laptop pocket with a 2"" wide Velcro elastic strap that secures the laptop, a secondary full-sized inner compartment, another zippered inner pocket, a PDA/music player/cell phone holder, three pen holders, and a full-sized zippered back pocket. Fabric: 1680 D w/Nylon, PVC. Bag Size: 15.75"" X 12"" X 4"".Laptop compartment: 15"" X 11"" X 1.5"" dimensions fits most 15.4"" laptops. We also have a matching 15.4"" notebook sleeve of the same style (not included). They are designed to complement each other. You can put the sleeve right inside the bag after removing the black pouch that comes with the bag.

I ordered the Laurex bag, loved the bag layout, and liked the outside design.
Whan the bag came, before class, opened the box to use it that night and was very disappointed. The laptop fit in the sleeve but when place inside the bag there was no room left for anything else. My hand could hardly fit down into the pockets on either side and the power cord would NOT fit in the bag.For the laptop to fit it pushed out the ends of the bag, making the inside very narrow, hence nothing would fit down either side of the laptop. The bag is very well padded however that padding takes away from the useable space. My laptop was 14.5" a 15.6 screen. I would not but this bag for anything over a 14" screen.
PLEASE NOTE: the bottom of the bag is about 3.5" wide but on the top it narrows to about 2", hence you have only narrow slits down either side pocket. A book would never fit, a notebook would not fit.
Great bag is you don't want to put a laptop in it, especially if you take out the removeable laptop sleeve.

The bag needs to be at least 16.5" to 17" so that the laptop and padding leave
for the rest of the bag to function.
Hope they make the bag a little longer, over 16", so it will function. It has a great layout and very well made.

High quality laptop bag. This bag is durable, has plenty of space for your laptop accessories, and most of all good looking. Purchased for my 13 inch macbook air. Highly recommend purchasing an envelope to protect your macbook air from sliding around within the bag because the notebook is so slim, however I would recommend this product to all of my friends.

My Dell XPS M1530 15.4" laptop fits perfectly in this bag. (One reviewer complained that the laptop pushed out the sides. My laptop does not push out the sides.) I can also carry the power adapter, my Bible and my Kindle in the main compartment, and my Beth Moore Bible study workbook (about 11" x 8.5" x 0.5") fits in the zippered pocket (although I cannot zip it.) There are also several other small pockets in the front, in addition to a narrow pocket (could accommodate a legal pad or a puzzle magazine) on the back.
On the back is a small carrying handle - if you don't want to use the shoulder strap. This carries the bag slightly off-kilter because there is not a handle on the front, but it is not too bad.
This would make a good book bag if you don't carry your laptop. If you carry your laptop without the power adapter, you can also carry a binder.
A small thing - the interior is gold colored. Silver would have suited it better, but it is still nice.
I was looking for a pretty, sturdy, well-made laptop bag - this one suits me well.
