2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Claire F. on June 13, 2012
I bought this for use in my 2-3 year old classroom, and the toddlers really love it! They match the colours of the pegs with the coloured alphabets and stack them up really high. The pegs are made out of good quality plastic and seem to be able to last a long time. However, the foam alphabets were a little disappointing. They could've chosen another material to make it more durable! Still works, though. Highly recommended for hours of stacking fun!

I purchased this for my 21 month old daughter along with several other items when I took my daughter out of daycare. I figured we could target several goals with this one item: sorting by color, motor skills, stacking the pegs, letter recognition and ID. Well for a kiddo under 2, your kid may do the same things mine did. My daughter would placeethe pegs in the holes but mostly just likes to throw them at this age. I will attempt to incorporate this into our routine once my daughter is about 25 months.

my Almost 2 year old and 5 year old love these. My 5 year old mostly stacks all the pegs to make swords, but my 2 year old likes putting the pegs in the hole. It's an awesome activity to keep her busy for at least 20-30 minutes.
