Born June 4, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1974 in both UDT-21 (Underwater Demolition Team) and SEAL Team Two. Worked as a commercial diver in the waters off of Scotland, India, and the United States. While attending the University of South Florida as a journalism student in 1998 was presented with the “Carol Burnett/University of Hawaii AEJMC Research in Journalism Ethics Award,” 1st place undergraduate division. (The annual contest was set up by Carol Burnett with money she won from successfully suing a national newspaper for libel). Awarded US Army, US Navy, South African, and Russian jump wings. Member of Mensa and lifetime member of the UDT/SEAL Association.

I too am hooked on the writings of Jim O'Neill. He proves his points, connects the dots, and supplies you with so many links proving his statements that in reality reading one article takes some time. The links are just as interesting and important as his main article.
Do yourself a favor and enjoy this fabulous writer...you'll want this book in your library and you'll want to get one for your friends.
I love Jim's works...he makes me strive to be a better writer myself.

How wonderful to see Jim O'Neill's work in print! I've been following this brilliant author for a couple of years at CanadaFreePress & have learned more of "genuine History," from reading his commentary, than I have anywhere in my lifetime. O'Neill's writing style holds a reader's interest throughout each article with fact based information, often with a twist of humor, not to mention links for further reading to satisfy peaked curiosity & desire to learn more on the topic discussed.

Jim is a former Navy SEAL. Most people do not know that one of the requirements to become a SEAL is to have a very high IQ. Jim is also a member of MENSA the high IQ society. This book is some of the wisdom collected from the passion of a warrior and the insight of a genius, You have a unique opportunity to be exposed to the high level thinking of a patriot warrior. When I read it I was reminded of the writings of our founding fathers.
