When my German friend introduced me to this CD, I was immediately taken away with their catchy beats and hilarious, sometimes goofy, moments in the CD. The first song that really caught my attention was their version of Pet Shop Boy's "Go West", but sung under the name "Ein Fest"... oh, I immediately loved their version! It took me and my friend a week before we realized where we heard that beat before, but this song is totally awesome, it was the original reason why I bought the entire CD. I found that many of the songs on the CD are great listening material, even though I don't know any German whatsover, I truly love this CD. Some translations I've gotten from my friends, and it really gave new meaning to the songs when I listen to them, are: Wir Sind Die Champignons, literally means "We are the Mushrooms"... and I believe it was Hose Runter with the lyrics where the singers are comparing ... sizes... Oh, but when you listen to this CD, be sure to check out track 7, their version of Sepultura's "Roots Bloody Roots", but with a hilarious twist of having it sung like a classical vocalist on top of the hard and heavy track, the best part coming with the beat changing from the heavy metal crunch guitar sounds to a classical orchestra-esque version. Truly, get this CD, even if you don't speak a word of German, it's really worth it.
