I bought these because I have been making my own lattes for years now and prefer the cleanliness of pods vs ground espresso. I really enjoy Lavazza coffee and was looking forward to receiving this purchase. When the pods arrived at my home I was very disappointed to receive a large ziplock bag of loose (individually packaged) pods. There were a few pods that weren't even Lavazza. I looked at several of the individual pods to check for expiration dates (because they do go bad) and couldn't find any. So for all I know I could have been preparing old and expired espresso. What a bummer. I feel like I wasted my money and in the future I will not buy this particular brand from this site due to the seller's choice in packaging. But with that said - Lavazza is a great brand of coffee.

I just recently decided to start making my own lattes at home to save some money, so I went out and got an espresso machine. I started out using the Lavazza ground espresso because these pods seemed a little pricey, but I could not be happier that I finally tried these! They are super easy, and much neater than grounds. They just make a perfect cup of espresso... I will definitely be buying them again!

I really loved the taste of this coffee

I personally like the taste of Lavazza coffee

better than that of Illy coffee.

Both of them are excellent, but Lavazza has its

own unique taste to it.

It is reasonably priced also.

It's just great.

I was dissappointed with the consistency of shots with these pods. Some of them are excellent while others are awful and watery. I think the packaging is very inconsistent. I would anyday use the starbucks pods- they are way more consistent

I ordered a sampler of espresso pods and this one really stands out. Great flavor, and a lovely crema on top.

I bought this coffee to go along with my wifes Christmas gift (one of the hand pump espresso machines to travel with). I had to of course try the coffee in my home machine just, ya know, to see. (I also have been playing with my kids gifts, but thats another review). Anyway, I really liked this coffee. Its not really intense like some, and that is a plus for me. No burnt taste or high acid, but a hint of chocolate and maybe a bit of nutty, yum. The only thing it may be just a tad too mellow making it come off as weak, probably more so to others that like more intense coffee, but I love it and I think my wife will, too. Maybe I just need to stop a little short with the shot and all will be well, but that will have to wait until after Christmas. This won't replace our regular 8 O'clock coffee just because of the cost, but it will be a nice change while traveling, and the dang portable pump is so cute, reminds me of my bicycle pump!

bought a first batch of 20, just to test it and finished all the lavazza pods right away that I had to order more. Ordered 80 this time. So gooood!

If you have a semi-automatic and hate the mess and the cleanup then this ESE pod will be a gift heaven sent. Lavazza does make great coffee by the fine balance of roast and aroma. It is a widely used brand across Europe for a reason it appeals to massive tastes. I would recommend this procduct whoever likes their esspresso a bit on the sweet side.

Chose these pods mainly on price; I was looking for a "name-brand" coffee that wouldn't break the bank. They're pretty good, but not as good as Illy or Starbucks. I'll probably try a few other brands before settling on one in particular.
