These Pods are great. They provide excellent tasting espresso without the grinding process which saves a lot of time. The only downside is each pod only provides 1oz of espresso. So if you're going to make two double shots of espresso that's 4 pods you would have to change in and out which makes a lot work. Overall great for just yourself but if making more than a shot or two for yourself, you'd be better off going with beans or grounds.

Lavazza coffee is hands down one of the better coffees available. These pods produce an excellent flavor espresso, with a very smooth almost sweet taste, and an incredible crema! Highly recommended!

I purchased the Lavazza Gran Crema Espresso because to use in my espresso machine. It worked great - it makes a perfect espresso is delicious - especially for cappuccino and using pods are a lot cleaner than using ground coffee.

I bought this to try an alternative ti the Illy pods we use at the office. The Lavazza pods are far superior, producing a flavorful and smooth expreesso with a delicious crema. the flavor is not too acid nor over reasted like Starbucks, you could say it is almost sweet.

A number of people have thanked me for buying these. If you have an E.S.E. expresso machine you should try them.

These have a full flavor and produce a large amount of crema. After trying many ESE pods this is king of the hill. If you want better flavor you'll have to use fresh roasted and ground beans. If you want quick, delicious espresso and easy cleanup then these are for you. I do not wet these pods prior to using them as some reviewers have stated, I do however tamp the pod like I would regular grounds.

This is a great coffee. I am really happy with how smooth and mild it is. All I used to drink was Illy Medium Roast because it was easy to get locally but it's rather expensive. I started looking for a cheaper alternative and saw all the positive reviews for this. I was still a bit skeptical just because everyone has a different idea of a great cup of coffee.

Let me say this again.. It is MILD!!! If you are expecting Starbucks espresso then go somewhere else. The roast doesn't taste burned and it has a good crema. I use this with my handpresso portable espresso maker with excellent results.

This coffee tastes very good prepared as espresso, latte or cappuccino; either using the ristretto attachment or the regular length (we didn't like it as lungo... gets weak, but it is a matter of taste, of course).
It has a medium roast amber-dark color when brewed and aroma that is very pleasant.
It is almost sweet to the taste without extreme accents of bitterness.
For people that prefers medium roast over bold toasted. This is a good choice coffee.

Brewing using an Illy Francis Francis X1.

I'm sure sure about buying from others or Amazon direct but I bought from Terry's Market seller. The 20 pack came loose in a bag, not in a box as stated. Not really a big deal, but it is nice to have a box on the counter instead of 20 loose packs. Basically they buy bulk and repackage. It has no impact on the espresso but thought this might help others.

I find this expresso to be as good as any of the other top ESE pods but at a lower price. It has a good, not overly strong taste, but enough to leave a slight tingle on the tongus. Nice creama as well. Amazon offered "prime" two day delivery on this item but did not come through.

I first started using Starbucks espresso pods. I wanted to try a few different brands so I decided to give Lavazza a chance. The package was shipped quickly and was exactly what they said it would be. After making my first latte I wasn't very fond of the flavor of this espresso. It's not as bitter as the Starbucks pods which is good but the overall flavor is too earthy for me.
