Lavender is the essential oil most commonly associated with burns and healing of the skin. It also has antiseptic and analgesic properties which will ease the pain of a burn and prevent infection. It also has cytophylactic properties that promote rapid healing and help reduce scarring. The scent of Lavender is said to have a calming effect on the body and it can be used to reduce anxiety, stress and promote sleep. Lavender Bulgarian is a very therapeutic grade comparable in status to the better known Lavender Population. I love the aroma of lavendar and the health properties associated with it. This particular product is excellent for promoting hair growth; for preventing scars and for aromatherapeutic uses. It has a gentle aroma and feels quite pleasant on the skin. It can also be used on bites to reduce itching. You can also place a drop of this oil on a towel in your bathroom so as to have a pleasant aroma.

I love this lavender oil, I use it in my home rather than other 'home fragrance' sprays. Works well to diffuse the odors from a stinky diaper pail! And I don't have to worry about my son breathing in chemicals that might be harmful to him. Plus, lavender is supposed to be calming, so the bedroom seems like the perfect place to use this scent.

I am new to oils and have been told lavender is great to help relax. After searching for a pure oil that won't leave an overwhelming smell, I purchased this one based on the reviews. I have tried it and I like very much. The smell is great not real strong but you still get the benefits of what you would look for in a lavender scent.
