I have daughters, one in particular loves purple. I try to keep what few pairs of my white socks that I have remaining from wandering off after my bandannas and logo T-shirts, flannel shirts ... (what is it about daughters and "borrowing" my comfortable clothes?). My dad would have killed me. Anyway, the purple (pardon me, lavender) socks were a definite hit. May have even saved a pair or two of my white socks.
