5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the diaper bag!
I bought 2 of these (one in butter and the other in bubble gum) so I can always keep one in my diaper bag, and I use one just about every day to hold wet/dirty cloth diapers when we're out and about. They contain odors well and are a great value for the money. I even use them for travel when we go away for weekends, and the 2 bags are enough to hold all my daughter's...

i got 2 of these wetbags as gifts. my blue one had the stitching start unraveling after less than a month of use. the red one had the zipper pull fall off after 4 months. both of these leaked thru the PUL (and not with soaking diapers inside). they are a great size for travel, but i can't use them anymore b/c they are falling apart.

**UPDATE: i tried to contact manufacturer. they said i must contact the place i purchased the wetbags. Amazon said i could not return unless it was in new condition. if it was in new condition, i wouldn't need to return. they (amazon) suggested i try to sell the wetbags as "used" on their site. anyone want a non-functioning wetbag?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the diaper bag!, April 22, 2008
I bought 2 of these (one in butter and the other in bubble gum) so I can always keep one in my diaper bag, and I use one just about every day to hold wet/dirty cloth diapers when we're out and about. They contain odors well and are a great value for the money. I even use them for travel when we go away for weekends, and the 2 bags are enough to hold all my daughter's dirty diapers for a whole weekend (they hold about 6-7 or so diapers each).

One thing I should mention, because it happened to both of my bags, is that the first time I washed each bag (I turn them inside out to wash them), the serger stitching on the inside of the bag came loose and unraveled about half way on one side. The straight stitch still held it together so it's not like the bag fell apart, but I reinforced both sides with zig zag stitching on my sewing machine just to be safe. For me this was no big deal at all, but just wanted to mention it. After several months of use, they are holding up wonderfully and still look brand new. I love all the color choices too!

Overall, I think these bags are very functional and adorable, and I'd recommend them to anyone who cloth diapers or just needs a wet bag for any reason.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for cloth diapers!, March 31, 2008

I originally purchased this for use in my diaper bag for dirty cloth diapers, but have also found it to be very useful for at home. I use the Mommy's Touch diaper pail liner for most of our dirties, but for the big messes, I use this little bag since it has a zipper and contains odors better than the big bag, which only has a drawstring. Good price, and no leaks!

3.0 out of 5 stars Bare bones, but gets the job done., October 11, 2008
I bought this wetbag because it was cheaper (by far) than some of the prettier ones I saw. It is very basic. It does not have a fabric sewn on the outer layer, rather, it's just one piece of fabric that has the plasticky lining on one side. As a wetbag, it is big enough and well constructed. I think the only set back to this is that it seems a little stinkier with poopy diapers inside than the 2 layer ones, but only slightly, because poopy diapers just stink.
I took this to the pool as well and it leaked slightly with very wet stuff inside. Never has leaked with just diapers though.
Pros: inexpensive, good construction
Cons: fabrics are not pretty, you feel closer to the poop or wetness than with a lined wetbag.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stitching unravelled after first wash, November 22, 2008
I ordered two of these. The size is perfect for taking on outings and I thought I'd love them. However, the serging inside the bag unravelled on both of them after the first wash (in the washer, not dryer)! It was very disappointing! Happily, I was able to return them for a full refund.

1.0 out of 5 stars very "homemade" and not in a good way, August 19, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The material is nice, the "coordinating zipper" is just off-white on an orange bag and the loop is white - sloppy color coordination. The zipper is the cheapest of cheap zippers with a metal pull; however the teeth seem tight so they'll probably keep odors in the bag. The stitching quality is not commercial or quality handmade; it is homemade in a hurry. The tension is looser than it should be and already unravelling as I unpacked it. The seams at each end of the zipper were not reinforced (or even finished, as the threads are still loose), and the zipper is longer underneath, so you start pulling those threads out even more when the zipper is used. The stitching used to attach the zipper isn't parallel to the top edge on one side of my bag, and the reinforcing (going back and forth a couple of times) is really sloppily done; the zipper wasn't even attached with a "zipper foot." At least that thread matches the bag fabric; the seams are just done in white so all the loosening stitches show.

It's a nice size, the material feels good (though it seems like it will snag a lot). Would not buy again though isn't worth the bother of returning. And now I'm inspired to make my own for a buck since I didn't realize zippers could be attached as such without a zipper foot!

Mommy's Touch offered to replace it -- but only if I pay return post.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice but not what i envisioned, May 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a very simple bag. Something I probably could have made myself. It works adequately, and is nice to have in the diaper bag for dirty or wet clothes/diapers. Just not quite what I was expecting. Had I seen a full picture of the product I probably wouldn't have spent the money on it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the bag, stitching needs improvement, September 7, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought 3 of these bags in different colors and LOVE them. The only reason I didn't get them a 5 star is that after the first wash the stitching started to come undone. It's an easy fix if you know how to sew. The bags store a days worth of prefold cloth diapers for my 18 month old. They keep the odors contained and are great for on the go. Despite the stitching problem I think they're a great value and product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love them and want more, June 26, 2009

These are fantastic! Nothing ever leaks through, they help contain odors, and you can fit alot of diapers in them! We went away last weekend and fit 2 days worth of diapers in 1 bag. I bought two, but wish I had bought more. They're easy to wash just turn them inside out and throw them in with the diapers, the colors didn't bleed and none of my stitching came out. (I read other reviews that said it had.) We'll see how they last in the long run I've only been using them about a month, but I don't see any future problems.
