I have been using this product for over 15 years. It is one of the only products I've used that works better over time. When I first started using the product I could only go 3 or 4 days between applications. I can now go 3 or 4 weeks, depending on the season with no odor at all. When I first started using the product, it took some time to get used to feeling sweaty, since it doesn't prevent you from sweating. But, I quickly got used to it since there is no odor and it doesn't stain your clothes. Give it a try.

If you are looking for a deoderant that works this is the one. And the best part about it, you only have to apply it on a weekly basis, if that much. I have tried most every product on the market and this is the best one made, in my opinion.

Lavilin works great and it works for days. It doesn't have a smell of its own, so it isn't irritating to people sensitive to flowery/soapy scents. It costs 2-3 times the price of normal deodorant but it lasts long and is worth the cost.

I've been using this product for about 10 years now. When I first tried it, it didn't seem to work. However, after some trial and error, I found that I was not persisting long enough. Depending on how much bacteria you have, it may take some time until the odor dies away. Do *not* expect it to work after the first application. Maybe for those lucky few it could work, but that's not been the case for anyone I've known to use the product.

After steady use, you will only need to use this once a month or once every other month--at least that's the case for myself, my husband, my brother and my sister-in law, all of whom have been using it for 10+ years.

Here's a routine that I do which seems to work well with this stuff

1. Take a shower at night and scrub your armpits with a scrubber and liquid soap. Get them squeaky clean (I like using Bronners eucalyptus liquid soap. (This is a great soap for men, too-guys love it.)

2. Apply it to your pits, covering every area that could have a bacteria ridden pore. The directions say not to rub, but I rub it in well, covering all areas.

3. Sleep

4. Wake up and repeat step #1. Scrub it all off and get your pits squeaky clean again. During the first couple weeks, you may want to apply again in the morning.

5. If you think you need another application, re-apply at night doing steps 1-4

As time goes on, you'll need to do this less and less frequently. First you'll go a day with no odor, then a few days, then weeks, then (literally) months.

This is the best natural deodorant product I've ever used...by FAR. There's nothing like it on the market that I'm aware of.

Okay, so this is a bit more expensive to buy than your regular stick deoderant, but I feel that it's worth it's weight in gold! It does take awhile for it to have the full effect. But, then it states that on the instructions. First you have to try to detox the pits by not wearing anything for several days. That alone is the hardest part. But, don't give up! I can go for 2 weeks without feeling that I need more! It goes on like a white paste, but has NEVER come off on my clothes, even right after putting it on. After I moved back to the desert, I noticed that my trusty stick deoderants would fail me after so long. I started doing research on deoderants, and found that this one is used by our soldiers in the middle east. Well, they have temps there similar to mine! I am so glad that I found this stuff! It doesn't take much. You just smear a small amount around, and go! You still sweat, but then...you need to sweat. Sooo, if you don't want to sweat, maybe you could just have your sweat glands removed...but then, would you overheat? Hmmmm. It's probably much cheaper, and less painful to just buy this stuff! It ROCKS!

I love this product! I'm allergic to anti-persperants, yet no other deoderant could do the job. I tried Lavilin several years ago and it's been a godsend. Unfotunately I do have to apply it about every 4-5 days instead of 7, but it's still worth it.

I have tried several different deodorants over the years. I saw a special on the local news about Lavilin. Four construction workers tried the product and said how they cound't believe it but it worked. That's all I needed to try Lavilin. It does work.

I'm not typically prone to exuberance or writing online reviews, but I have been using Lavilin underarm deodorant with great success for over five years. An application usually lasts me about a week with no smell. This is the only natural deodorant that works for me (I tried about twenty before I found Lavilin). I really like that I don't have to apply it every day, it's a much more civilized process. It's one of those things that feels like a little secret that you wish the rest of the world knew about. This little bottle lasts a long time, so I don't think you're losing money versus a stick deodorant. Lasts several months, not sure, probably about six months.

After trying every product out there, with unsuccessful results, I think I have found one that actually works! Thank you, Lavilin!!!

I have been using this for over 20 yrs. Even as a former A/C service person working in the hot Phoenix climate and sweating all day long it lasted for weeks. I can definately go 2-3 weeks or longer in the winter. A no brainer!!! I can't believe it doesn't work for some people, they must not be following the instructions to lay off their regular deodorant for several days. You're all clogged up! The 5.99 shipping charge listed by Amazon is almost 50% of the price. Shop elsewhere.
