One of the best in the series!,
By
This review is from: The Law of Corporations: In a Nutshell (In a Nutshell (West Publishing)) (Paperback)
I'm a law student and a big Nutshell fan. This is definitely one of the best Nutshells in the series. It's clear, it's organized, and it covers a broad array of issues in corporate governance and operation. I think it would make a better text than the bulky casebooks we're forced to carry around. It's a must-have for law students, aspiring corporate lawyers, and anyone needing a quick reference on general corporate law.

Good aid for study!,

This review is from: The Law of Corporations: In a Nutshell (In a Nutshell (West Publishing)) (Paperback)
As a foreigner to study law in the U.S.,I find it very difficultfor me to comprehend what the casebooks are trying to express. I was suggested to search for the nutshell related to the Robert W. Hamilton's thick, heavy and hard-to-understand casebook on Corporations here at Amazon. After I browsed through the introduction of this little book, I found it very concise in expression and easy to catch the points. I consider it a great aid for those who find it hard to study the Hamilton's casebook.

This is a very good primer on the subject. Highly recommend for going from 0 to 35mph on the subject fairly quickly and painlessly.

Good substantively, but loaded with grammatical errors,
This review is from: The Law of Corporations in a Nutshell, 6th (Nutshell Series) (Paperback)
The substance of the book is great. It explains the law of corporations very well in clear language. It is not a quick summary like the Gilbert's series, but is much better are helping to gain a solid understanding. However, it is full of typos and grammatical errors which sometimes cause you to be confused about what they are really trying to say. I am shocked that West would let this book publish with these blatant errors in the book. It a shame as I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for these mistakes.

I bought this book to use in studying for my corporate law class, and it has been incredibly helpful so far! I wish it had a few more cases in it that we discuss in class, but this book does a great job. It's making outlining 10 times easier.

it is good condition and shipping speed is very fast, I like this book, but if I knew this book is not the newest version, maybe I won't buy it, but anyway, it is a good book.

Summary of Corporations,
By Daniela M. (Washington, DC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Law of Corporations: In a Nutshell (In a Nutshell (West Publishing)) (Paperback)
This book offers an excelent summary of Corporations. It has an easy vocabulary and it is very well organized. However, it does not have any margins. In short, I really recommend it as a second source to improve your studies of Corporate Law.

Tough going,

This is a very detailed book and in my opinion is not for you unless you have a bit of a background in Law.
