This book is a great summary of the law of homeowners' associations in Florida. It is written in a way that is easily understandable by non-lawyers. It is a great resource for board members of homeowners' associations.

Information on the history of Homeowner Association law in Florida is interesting and helps to frame the current status of the laws. It is short on what recourses an individual or group of homeowners are available to them. It appears that the developers win most of the time.

THE BOOK WAS NO HELP FOR ME , I WAS LOOKING FOR RULES FOR THE ROOFS WHICH NOW I UNDERSTAND THERE IS NO RULES FOR THE ROOFS AND FLORIDA IS BUILDING MORE TOWNHOUSES WITH NO RULES FOR THE ROOFS.MY PROBLEM IS I CAN NOT GET A NEW ROOF WITH OUT THE OTHER UNIT'S GETTING A NEW ROOF TOO. THE BOOK MAY BE SOME HELP FOR OTHER PEOPLE.
