About the Author

Judge Khalilian: Graduated from the French Law Universities in Paris (l'Université de Paris I - l'Université de Paris II at Sorbonne) with degrees of postgraduate and doctorate in international law, having also received advanced education in domestic civil law from the University of Tehran. His legal practice include teaching, research and authoring in the domain of law; he also worked as a legal advisor within the Bureau of International Legal Services at the Hague, Netherlands, where, after a period of six years, he was promoted to the position of arbitrator on the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal.
