4.0 out of 5 stars For hard-core analytic philosophers, March 3, 2011

This review is from: The Law of Non-Contradiction: New Philosophical Essays (Hardcover)
If you are a hard-core analytical philosopher, this is a great book. The debate about the law of non-contradiction is about as fundamental as you can get. Clarity and rigor are on display, as well as flashes of humour.

If you are not a hard-core analytical philosopher, this book will probably seem difficult and, at times, a little dull.

If you think that you both are and are not a hard-core analytical philosopher, you are probably a dialetheist - you believe that some contradictions are true. In that case, you will probably want to keep a copy of this book under your pillow at night.
