One of my favorite seasons, Law and Order Season 7 has a little bit of everything. While one of the previous reviewers complains about what they call the predictable "body found-investigation-arrest-trial" pattern of Law and Order, what they fail to recognize is the case variety and the myriad issues involved that make each episode unique. While it's true that the show seems to follow a certain pattern, the underlying causes and the secondary issues at play in each episode makes the show relevant after all these years. While "Good Girl" and "Entrapment" return to the familiar Law and Order territory of racial conflict and and police misconduct rears its head in "Corruption", "I.D." deals with identity theft and sexual harrassment (from a judge), and "Mad Dog" deals with the controversial issue of dealing with rapists/sex offenders post-incarceration, to cite just two examples.

If u love to watch law and order the way i do this is a must own season which includes some of the best episodes with detective Lenny Briscoe (Jerry Orbach ) and detective Ray Curtis ( Benjamin Bratt ) also joining the cast is newly appointed assistant Jamie Ross ( Carey Lowell ) to a.d.a Jack Mccoy (Sam Waterston ). Included in this season is a three part episode that takes the cast from new york to L.A. and back. also i could list every episode and main theme but that would take up too much space in my opinion this is one of the best season on sale to date and the season finale episode is one you will never forget. which takes the
D.A. adam schiff from a capitol punishment involved case to his personal decision on his wife's life who is on life support. I would definetly recommend this season this anyone who is a fan of law and order. ( i can't wait till season 8 goes on sale).

I love this show so much! I just wish they would issue all the seasons.

What is left to say about this great show? Hard to pick a favorite season but the Lenny Briscoe, Lt. Van Buren and Jack McCoy combination never failed to produce great characters with stellar plots.

This was early in the series and shortly after Sam Waterston came aboard as the assistant DA. He is absolutely fantastic in this role. This also is the time when the DA above him is played by the actor who played it best. Then among the police we have Jerry Orbach as the cop with the quips and he is marvelous too along with his take no prisoners female lieutenant. The stories remain a constant in this series, always following the headlines of the day. First the crime is committed, then investigated and solved by the police and then tried by the D.A.'s office. Frequently there is dissension about what the police want versus what the D.A.'s office can get. The biggest differences I find between the scripts of L&O right now from versus back then is that 1) the difference in how computers have taken over the L&O workplace, not to mention the crime it has added on and 2) the focus on terrorist activities. Other than these two differences in script themes though, it is basically murder, day in and day out, in New York City.

For all of those L & O fans, this is a must to add to your collection. Classic episodes that we never tire of (even tho they can be viewed on cable). Curl up on the sofa with a bag of popcorn & Season 7. Enjoy!

It is strange to look at the poor video and big cell phones of just a few years ago, but Law & Order is awesome!

I have known and seen the subjects of this LawOrder 7th year and like to know that I can see it whenever I want....often, because alawys interesting.

this video is easy to sit and watch from start to finish if you like.

Law and Order just seems to get better and better the longer it is on. A really exciting, interesting season 7. Recommend it to all.
