I had a head injury during my freshman year of college and it affected my college career including my GPA so I ordered this book. It has some valuable information but the price is ridiculous. It is a small, thin little book with some good information but it's certainly not worth around $35.00...$19.95 at the most maybe. The information is not THAT valuable--boy, talk about greed!

I ordered this book, and also Ann K. Levine's "The Law School Admissions Game: Play Like an Expert." Let me tell you...buy Levine's book, not this one. That book contained twice the information, twice the helpfulness and for half the cost. This book had pretty much no information in it that isn't common sense. I should STUDY for my LSAT? Noooooo, you don't say!? Seriously, don't waste your money here. The book is tiny and expensive, which would all be fine if the information was useful, but it just isn't. There are no specific tips, and despite the title, there is no real help specifically about helping to overcome a lacking GPA or LSAT score. Trust me on this one...go buy Ann K. Levine's "Law School Admissions Game" instead. It will actually help you, and is more directed towards overcoming weak factors in your application than this book is.

Highly Recommended and worth every penny! The Law School Admissions Guide offered advice that was VERY helpful to me. This book gets right to the point and is not filled with lots of fluff like other books I have bought about law school admissions. The book sets the record straight, simple and straightforward, as to what law schools look for and how to represent yourself in the best possible light in order to get noticed, stand out among other applicants and increase your chances of getting admitted to law school. I am glad I read this book prior to submitting my law school applications.
