Lawn Grips are great, but.,

These lawn shoes are great and comfortable. I have the velcro strap version which make slipping them on and off easy. The steel toe and water resistance also address the biggest issues when working outside. However, they have a very short lifespan. I am a weekend warrior, so they only got use on weekends. Nevertheless the came apart at the seams within a year. Why build in all the great features of these shoes, charge over $100 for them, and not build them to last? As much as I like them, I can't see spending the money for them if they fall apart so quickly. I've got steel toe Redwing boots and Timberland work shoes that have over 10 years on them and still going. Too bad they don't have the comfort and waterproofing the Lawn Grips have.

Lawn Grips work boots rock! they're the most comfortable work shoes I've ever owned. Not only are they comfortable, they also keep my feet dry. I work as an estate gardener and do a lot of walking. I'm constantly splashing water on my feet, walking through wet grass, carrying stuff, digging in dirt, etc. The Lawn Grips are sturdy enough for shovel work. The rubber toe cap and water-resistant leather repel splashes and shallow puddles. The soles provide good grip on wet grass and muddy ground. I like the way the collar of the boot fits snugly around the top of my foot and ankle, which prevents rocks and debris from getting into the shoe.
This is the third pair of Lawn Grips I've bought in the past 3 years. The boots hold up for about one year, then they start coming apart at the seams. My .first two pairs were the Velcro strap models. This time I ordered the lace-up version. I don't entirely understand the sizing-- in street shoes, I normally wear a woman's size 9. In Lawn Grips, The size 9 fits me perfectly. If I followed the instructions, I should be ordering two sizes smaller. YMMV. I gave .the lace-up models a 3-star rating because I don't know if they will hold up as well as the Velcro ones I've worn in the past. Otherwise, I give Lawn Grips 5 stars. 2115|R3G28RXKWLQWJB;2115|RTEAMBUFQCXTG;
