A nostalgic look back with a reunion of many of the Welk stars we all have known and love. A emotional time for the cast and viewer. A great time was had by all.

Sunday nights meant Lawrence Welk. This gathering of musical pieces brought back so many memories! We leave it playing in the background now when we have a Sunday supper gathering. It just makes everyone smile.

In 2001 many of the Welk stars reunited at the CHampagne Theatre in Branson, MO. This vhs/dvd captures that magical evening. A highlight was Bobbie Burgess dancing with all THREE of his dancing partners. Unfortunately quite a few of the stars are no longer shining--they have passed on. But this tape is a wonderful rememberance of what made Mr Welk a must see for so many years. The recording is rather long--and is seperated into many acts. The good clean fun Mr Welk is remembered for is here for all to enjoy. Normer Zimmer, Mary Lou, Tom Netherton, Guy and Ralna all stop by to share memories. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDING OF ALMOST ALL THE WELK STARS REUNITING ON ONE STAGE. A MUST HAVE, A MUST SEE. It's uplifting and if you are a Welk fan--it can be a tearjerker too. The kind of entertainment presented here is long gone in America--and has been replaced with reality tv shows-rape-murder-and mayhem. WUNNERFUL WUNNERFUL I rate this dvd/vhs.

I just thought it would be more like their weekly program. But still good for the I sit with.

This VHS arrived damaged, it was unplayable. It was not properly packaged for shipping. There was no bubble wrap or protection of the VHS. Extra costs were incurred to return the damaged product. Service was not prompt for the refund. I had to cancell the payment through the credit card.
