Book Description

January 19, 2006
Compared to Stephen Covey and Tony Robbins as a visionary thinker, Dan Sullivan brings practical, powerful new approaches to success in life and business. "The Laws of Lifetime Growth outlines ten "laws" that give readers an internal framework for taking charge of their future. All it takes to use each of these laws is a slight shift in thinking, which anyone -- regardless of age, environment, or stage in life -- can instantly accomplish. Based on Sullivan's years of coaching in which he discovered what motivates people and unlocks their greatest abilities, "The Laws of Lifetime Growth explains how to use such timeless wisdom as "Always make your confidence greater than your comfort" and "Always make your contribution bigger than your reward." Sullivan's laws, startling in their simplicity, show readers how to stay focused and firm so that they can continually grow in all areas of life.

"At age eleven, Dan Sullivan observed an airplane in the sky, and asked himself, `How far can I go?' Ever since, he's been using ordinary questions to produce extraordinary results and teaching others to do the same through The Strategic Coach Program. This book is a must-read for anyone, at any age, who is willing to ask the question, `How far can I go?'"

5.0 out of 5 stars A Powerful book that is both Accessible and Practical, March 26, 2006

I've read tons of personal development books. When the authors of those books cite their experiences as consultants to Fortune 500 companies and their CEOs, I can't relate. In their clear, helpful, and powerful book, The Laws of Lifetime Growth, authors Sullivan and Nomura impart useful wisdom, while using examples about real people I can relate to, with every day stories. It was a quick, easy read, and I've already shared it with a bunch of friends, and put into effect several of the book's excellent suggestions. Buy this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Growing happy: How to exercise your attitude and love your life and work., February 10, 2007
This review is from: The Laws of Lifetime Growth: Always Make Your Future Bigger Than Your Past (Hardcover)
It would be a great thing to sell at airports for business and other travelers. It's digestible in one or two flights and it's chock-full of inspiring thoughts. And that would be enough but this book goes further and offers practical steps for implementing the inspiration! I felt so "I can do this!" after reading it, I thought I'd keep the book on my shelf for future shots in the arm.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book will instantly increase your confidence and provide you with tremendous direction and focus., February 12, 2006
This review is from: The Laws of Lifetime Growth: Always Make Your Future Bigger Than Your Past (Hardcover)
One of the simplest ways to break free of the complexity in our fast changing world is to have guiding "generalized principals" that are always true. These principals become huge strategic advantages for anyone who learns and applies them. Dan Sullivan's genius is that he and his able co-author (Catherine Nomura) provide a simple priority of laws to live by that will enhance anyones life. Equally as important, these laws provide great guidance on avoiding many of the traps and dead-ends that cause stagnation or depletion. After reading this book you will wish you understood these laws earlier in life...but will be very glad you learned them for the rest of your life. -- Joseph J. Janiczek, Author of How to Achieve Absolute Financial Freedom
