3 song ep. "Lay and Love" is a gem. Will Oldham's voice is so completely honest and emotive, it's hard not to get completely caught up in this song. The female harmony is a wonderful counterbalance. There's a minimalist, almost primitive quality to this song that allows the emotion of his words to take center stage. "Lay and Love" overflows with the love you have for someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, flaws and all. Perfect.
