Great start to a series, but no more episodes., July 29, 1999

A good blend of mild supernatural and future science. The hero and friend make a dive into a haunted lake and recover a hand mirror that is an activator for a closed time cycle on the Titanic a few hours before sinking. This is one of many genetic seed colonies being kept for restarting the human race after an un-named disaster. The story behaves like #1 of a series but there have been no more since 1989. This was my only disappointment with the book although it does stand on its own.

a strange time travel book, where the main character ends up in a time loop on the titanic. A memorable book.
