Easily One of The Greatest Rock Albums of All Time, October 23, 2006

This is Eric and Rock and Roll at its finest. You could easily say this is also one of the finest blues albums ever made. While the music, which is fanastic, is rock, the singing comes from the soul. This album finds Eric teaming up with a cast of all stars including Duane Allman. This is a tortured time in E.C.'s life fighting substance abuse and in the guilt associated with loving his best friend's (George Harrison) wife. This is a great blues album that should be part of everyone list. Also check out the new re-issue of this album that includes some of the extended jam sessions.
