Economical Serving Size,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lay's Potato Chips Regular, 1.5-Ounce Large Single Serve Bags (Pack of 64) (Grocery)
While this was an economical way to purchase a 'Large Serving Size' (not available in stores) I was disappointed with the condition the box arrived in and the poor packing of the product. Instead of the bags being lined up and covered with a protective cellophane wrap, they were tossed into the mailing box without any protective wrapping. Individual bags were all crushed. Chips were not as fresh as they are when purchasing them directly from the store.

Dump the Discipline,

One. Single. Solitary. Singular. One is the loneliest number that you'll ever use. Uno. Einz. The marketing folks at Lay's got it right. No one can eat just one. Nor should they. LAY'S POTATO CHIPS, the consummate snack of Americana, are not designed for solitary servings; they are here to be consumed prodigiously--by handful after greasy handful. Crisp, fresh, salty spud nirvana, these are chips to munch not in solitary discipline, nor one per serving (egads), but in numbers too high to count. Wherever there are hamburgers or hot dogs being grilled, wherever there are tailgating parties, wherever there are social gatherings of casual consequence, bags of LAY'S POTATO CHIPS make their tasty presence known. We munch, we crunch, we scarf a bunch in a hunch. And--always--we come back for more. So banish the thought of eeking out an existential existence of snack food discipline; treat yourself to wholesome goodness that transcends generations of hearty crunchers. Become, like moi, a master magician. See how fast you can make one of these bags of spud nuggets disappear. Chow, er, ciao! --D. Mikels, Esq.

Yummy!,

These are some of the crunchiest ,golden, potato chips with good oils. For an individual with multiple food intolerances, including peanuts, and soy proteins, these became a favorite. Having these for parties, to fit in with the other children is huge! Now, they even have an organic variety, full of good taste!

I buy these animals in bulk and take 5 to 10 bags to work each week as I found that the dispensing machines are more expensive and unreliable. Occasionally I turn out empty pockets and it is nice to know I have a stash at arms reach.I know that now days many people like the heaver chips. But I grew-up on the thinner Lays's. I consider these chips one of the basic food groups. I also like bulk delivery as it is like Christmas all year around.

howdy y'all, when you can get this from amazon with free shipping [can't do that right now, unfortunately] it's a dang fine deal. i got the regular flavor and one package is just the right amount to take the edge off my craving. it's really too salty for me to have often, but _wow_ is it good. [*grin*] my big box of 64 packages has lasted me quite some time - since 2010-10 - and it will last a few more weeks. yes, it's past the use-by date. it still tastes fine to me. none of the packs i received were crushed, either. rated a FOUR cuz this item is actually better than i had expected. take care, lee

Lay's Potato Chips Regular, 1.5-Ounce Large Single Serve Bags (Pack of 64)I haven't had chips in the house for over a year! When these went on an AMAZING sale I decided to satisfy my guilty pleasure. I ate THREE bags before I moved them to the pantry. Oh, to have either ice-cold beer OR root beer would make this heaven. NEXT guilty pleasure coming right up =) These are better than I remember them. The great price reduction is because their use buy date is AUGUST 10, 2010. We can handle it though. |
