4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining and thought-provoking!, August 19, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lazarus Project (Paperback)
John Bayer makes the unbelievable sound...well, believable! The science is on the verge of existence, and could be taken from current news reports. The underlying plot is reminiscent of The Boys From Brazil, but more realistically executed. I don't think this story "could happen," I believe it one day will happen!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Christian thriller, September 2, 2009

This review is from: The Lazarus Project (Paperback)
After reading every book, all 15 I believe, in the "Left Behind" series I was really disappointed when they were all finished so I have been looking for books similar in the Christian thriller genre. This book does not disappoint. If you read and loved the "Left Behind" series, with that series, especially the first couple books, getting consistent 5 star ratings in your thinking then I recommend this book and author to you with a hardy 4 star rating. Well written, well paced, grammatically correct (maybe two typos in whole of book) a little biblical paranormal involved in the story and all questions answered by end of book. Very satisfying read. Highly recommend. All Christian references that I recall are soundly based in the bible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a page turner!, May 16, 1999

This review is from: The Lazarus Project (Paperback)
Bayer did it again! This is the sequel to Necessary Risk and is another page turner. Bayer has the uncanny ability to capture the reader's attention at the very start of the book and hold it by introducing new action, suspense and characters throughout the entire book. A must read for anyone who reads Cussler, Grisham or Clancey.
