It did print and it transferred without having to coat the decal. The problem I had was the color quality. Using the printer settings they say to use the colors are really poor. Black is the only thing that came out correctly. Also the color shifted some. Turquoise became blue. It also never got completely white. I liked that I did not have to coat it before application but the color is just not very good. I will go back to using super decal. Their sheet has to be treated after printing but the color is very good their clear is also better as it is really clear not translucent like this one. The only drawback in the Super Cal is that it is more expensive. But it works.
I found out by experimenting that if you ignore their suggestions for print quality settings it will get better color results. I have a Canon MX330 series Ink-jet printer and when I change the Paper to gloss photo and the quality to best it works much better and does not run or bleed over. The color is much better but still not as good as the Super Cal white sheet. But the lazertran sheets bond better and are great for transparent use. You do need to be careful when using turpentine to make it bond better the decal will get very soft and if you mess with it in that state it will fall apart. But if you are careful and get it into place quickly then leave it alone It is fantastic. Using it as a white transfer is not so good go with the Super Cal for that.
Hope this helps.

This product is amazingly easy to use. I copied images from my Photop Elements work. I made some decals for collage and some to put on metal blanks. The decals for collage worked easily, but required non water based coating to protect the image. I use gel medium and other water based media in my collages, but if you cover the Lazertran decal with that the background becomes opaque instead of transparent. I also tried to use a decal on a copper blank, but after it dried it curled up and came off the blank. I don't think I will be using this product for what I had hoped. However, my husband thinks it will work well for decals on his wood creations, because they would be covered with a non water based coating anyway.
Just know how you want to use the decals and you'll be satisfied.

I purchased this waterslide decal paper elsewhere for a lot less. I had never tried this medium before and the instructions did seem simple. However, I also surfed the Internet and watched videos on the use of Lazertran for Inkjet to become more familiar with the product.

My purpose for choosing this medium was to create a memory jug covered with a collage of family photos (my jug choice was actually a rounded white vase with some interesting geometric features). I built my photo collage templates in Photoshop with the sepia affect, printed them out on plain paper to test the fit on the vase, and after some readjusting and more testing, I then printed them out on Lazertran for Injet. I used the normal print setting on my HP printer without any problems. The sheets were left to dry for 30 minutes, and then I cut the decals (templates) out.

I worked on my vase in sections. I lightly brushed turpentine on the work area, blotting off any excess (only a very thin coat is needed). I soaked the decal in warm water to loosen it from the backing, took it out of the water and blotted it a little with paper towels, and then carefully affixed it on the vase (you do have a little wiggle room with the turpentine method while the decal is still damp to re-position it, but must be very, very gentle). I used my finger as well as a soft kitchen spatula to gently push out any air bubbles (you won't get all out...it's not perfect). A few rips did occur here and there on the decals, but I was able to gently push the rips back together (and it actually created a very nice aged look). Once all the decals were affixed on the vase, I allowed it to dry for about an hour.

Fast and easy way to transfer your favorite graphics on glass, marble or any other solid place.
Easy to use...Don't know how long it will last, but looks good so far.
Nothing on the market quite like it...it's unique in its catagory of comsumer goods.

Easy even for a first time user. I'm a mixed media collage artist and once in while I use photography, but the various transfer methods can be imperfect and labor intensive. this transfer paper worked like a charm! Following the instructions is important. Specifically, not over-saturating the paper with inkjet ink (use your normal settings, choose "other media" settings for paper, not "regular" or "glossy." Lastly, definitely allow drying time once out of the printer. I let it sit still for an hour before soaking and removing image. Although I followed the instructions, I encountered some a little run off with the black tone ( blk. & wht. photography)

I adhered my finished image with gel medium.

I absolutely love this product, I used it for a glass plate project and it worked beautifully. You have to understand that you will be required to cover the image with polycrylic (or equivalent) in order for protection and your image to refrain from scratching. Just an extra step! The paper is definitely worth the price :)
