This review is from: Lazy Afternoon (Paperback)
Lazy Afternoon, a collection of short stories, is a treat to be savored in small bites. The stories (and poems) are short. But the characters and settings are very real, and the reader is instantly drawn into their particular world.
My personal favorite is a piece called The Wings of a Bird. For a short story, it is an amazingly deep look into the lives of a less than happy couple. Other stories, like Her Greatest Fear, are only two pages long but will surprise with a totally unexpected ending.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story. It is certainly one of my favorite short story collections ever.
