Let me start by saying that I rarely if ever write these reviews, but I have to say that I really dig this album. It's very musical. I can hear so many of my favorite bands in the songs along the lines of Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, a little Rush thrown in, with a dash of Pink Floyd. Don't worry about the fact that it's all instrumental. These guys take you on a musical journey where you form images in your mind. I am finding that I want to listen to this stuff over and over again and I don't get tired of it. The replay ability alone is the mark of a great album in my opinion. I highly recommend it..

Saw these guys, unexpectedly, at the M15 opening for King's X. I had no idea who they were, but they came out and got right to it...and seriously. Didn't know any of the songs in their short set...all instrumentals, but every one of them smoked. The stage crew tried to cut them off as they started into their last song, but they moved right ahead and tore into another excellent number. Before they were done, the M15 crew cut them off at the soundboard, but they kept playing on on their own gear! When they were done, the crowd booed the crew, and cheered the band. I've never bought mp3 music before, but these guys motivated me to do so! If you like cookin' progressive rock, you'll enjoy this tasty morsel.

I chose this rating because the musicians are excellent and the music they create is outstanding for the genre - namely progressive rock. I especially enjoy two of the songs, "From The Deep" because the drum sounds are exquisitely and differently executed. "Letters From Home", a tribute to our servicemen, is so moving and innovative, mostly due to the cello, - an instrument not usually heard in this kjind of music.

I have been a prog rock fan for many years and it's been a while since a new album from any band has come around that made me want to listen to it again and again. Pet Shark? Who the heck are these guys and where did they come from?
I wish they were playing in my home town! Let's go guys!
I just can't stop listening to this album. It should have a warning label on it saying "This album is addictive".
All of my favorite influences are in this recipe. Buy it, you won't regret it.
