This brush wins hands down!

It works well I can use it in the bath, or on his dry hair, pulls out a lot of hair, and my dog doesn't mind one bit.

Both of my dogs love getting brushed with it.

My Weimaraners do not shed much being short haired but this brush has cut down on so much vacuuming. I use it once a week outside. They actually think they are getting petted and not brushed. It is very gentle. A must for short haired dogs!

Brush arrives, simple, soft rubber dog brush with nice soft bristles. So I get the dog- I start to brush her, at first she was a little scared of it, after a few sniffs, no problem. It works rather well, takes a lot of dead hair off my mutt who has a short thin coat, would not recommend for long thick hair, to hard to get it out. Much easier on dogs skin vs. metal bristles, easy to clean.

I bought several different brushes of this type, trying to figure out which would be best for my dogs, a German Shepherd and a Chavachon. This brush wins hands down! The dogs both love it. It's very comfortable in my hand and curves to cover the dog's curves just right. Besides the hand strap, there is also a finger guard to keep it from twisting while you're grooming. Simply fit over your hand, slip your finger in the loop and off you go! I REALLY like this one far better than the others. I'm back for another one. BTW, it also holds the fur as it takes it out, while the Kong Zoom Groom simply let's it fly away! Yuck. It has little fingers at the end of each post that grip the hair. I REALLY like it. Well designed for its purpose.

ONE CAUTION: if you have a pup who is a chewer, like mine, don't leave this anywhere he/she can get his/her teeth on it. I was careless and now there is no finger loop on my brush. It is in little prices all over my carpet! LOL Good thing I ordered more of them.

This doggie curry comb is fabulous. My dog feels like she is getting a massage (her eyes shut and she starts to sigh) and I get a lot less fur around the house. A win for both.

We use this to bath our dog. She has short hair and the bristles are long enough that it really gets into her coat. It's a nice rubber so I believe it massages them as well because we've used this twice and she just stands there. She usually doesn't like the water or bathing but seems to like the way this feels. It gets the job done well but isn't hard on their bodies. Definitely a good tool to have when bathing your dog yourself.

I have an arsenal of hair grooming tools for my short-haired GSD: 2 different slicker brushes, 1 pin brush, 1 boar bristle brush, 1 undercoat raker, 1 rotating undercoat raker, 1 furminator, 1 zoomgroom, and now one of these! Obviously I use each one for slightly different reasons, but this one really relaxes him. He's fallen asleep almost every time I've massaged his coat with this. This one doesn't scratch or irritate the one hotspot on his back like the other grooming tools do. I love how it locks onto your palm. That's what makes this different from all the rest. Also, when I give the guy a bath, it doesn't slip right out of my hand as I lather up the shampoo.

If you're looking for a hair catching/removing brush though, this isn't it. This is more of a doggy massage-therapy tool that I use at the end of hair-raking grooming session. This will only "static-grab" the really loose hair but it stimulates his skin and his coat looks even nicer than when just raked and brushed. I find it a pain to remove the loose hair that clings to this rubber brush, so I've been using the vacuum to clean it right off.

This brush has been so helpful all getting all the loose hair off my golden retriever. It gentle enough that my dog doesn't mind it. We have used it both as an everyday brush and when giving our dog a bath. Even when wet it brushes out a lot of the hair.

My labradoodle loves this thing. He will just lay down and relax as long as I'm grooming him with this product.
