This bag is multipurpose. For work you can throw in your netbook, blackberry, papers and a bottle of water and have room for your kid in there. For play, you can throw in the kids snacks, ipods, sneakers, etc. It's huge, tons of room. I love it.

This is an awesome tote! Big, durable, comfortable to carry.... will last for years!

I love this bag. Initially purchased as a weekender for short trips on the train/plane, I use it all the time! It fits a ton of stuff but is also not too bulky if you only have a few things in it. I would recommend this bag to anyone.

This is an excellent bag! I have wanted a Lesportsac tote for a long time. This did not disappoint! It is a great bag for weekend travel or carry on. Being a teacher, I sometimes use it to bring extra stuff into school. I love that the top part expands if necessary. This bag is a great, classic addition to anyone's bag repertoire! I am going to buy it in a fun print next!

Well constructed, rugged yet flexible and lightweight tote. Gave as a gift to a friend who uses it to carry about here pc, school books and daily "junk". Easy to keep clean

Used this for a long haul flight and it fit everything I needed. Because it zips shut, I didn't have to worry about anything falling out when goign through security or placing in the overhead bins. Also, the outside zip pockets were a decent size - held our passports so they were easy to get to but still zipped in.

I've had a variaton of this bag for over 20 years. It's lightweight, expandable and just the right size for both commuting to work and any kind of travel. The zippered pockets and top that can either pop up if you have lots of items to put in it or push down if you don't need the extra storage make it a perfect carry-on for air travel. I'm a huge fan of this particular bag and plan to keep replacing them as they finally wear out after years of use. It is a bit pricey but I searched and found that some patterns were more affordable than others. I don't know why there's such a price variation as it's virtually the same tote bag but I did get a fair price for the one I purchased.

I bought this for a trip to the Caribbean to use as a travel tote (wanted to be able to hold a small purse, books, an SLR camera that's a little bulky and a few other odds and ends) AND a beach bag. It did a fine job. The nylon material is good for both uses and I like the zip-top for both as well. There's one interior pocket and 3 exterior pockets, which are also handy. I think LeSportsac bags are a little overpriced, but this was the best type of bag I found for what I wanted.
