I got this tub for my daughter when she was a little over 6 months old. She had been in a standard infant tub with the slanted support. That was fine when she was small, but since she has gotten bigger and cannot sit up yet, she kept sliding down into the infant tub. I got the Bath n Bumper and it is perfect. It is soft and provides good support during this transition period where she is learning to sit up. The only problem that I have with it is that in order for the bath to retain water, you must plug the drain for the entire bathtub...this takes some time. Since the bath is soft yet supportive, I can flip my daughter onto to her tummy and clean her back easily. She seems to be comfortable in it. I wish that I had gotten it earlier, because if you flip the tub over, it is the perfect infant support.

At 6 months, my son was rapidly growing out of his newborn tub. I tried a blowup tub, but he kept sliding all over (even with a towel under him). As he wasn't yet a confident sitter, a bathring was not a solution either. I opted for the Bath n Bumper as a compromise. As another reviewer remarked, the whole tub has to be filled in order to use the Bath n Bumper and the "beans" don't fill the entire Bath n Bumper. However, these are not obstacles. With a bathring, I would have to fill the tub anyway; and the beans do their job nicely. In addition, the tub dries very quickly when hung up. Besides the fact that my now 9 month old son seems to enjoy the tub, I don't have to worry about him slipping backwards and banging his head against the hard porcelain bathtub.

Thank you Leach Co. for making a tub item that really works for my baby now that she is too big for her infant tub and too small for the adult tub. This product made of a polyester mesh fabric, not vinyl like the snug tub, allows my baby of 6 months to sit in the tub without feeling like she is going to slip and slide all over the bottom. Its sides that are filled with soft beads like a bean bag support her yet they don't create a hard surface that she could hurt herself on. It goes right into our adult tub and when we are through there is a hanger so that you can let it drip dry. In addition to these features, those of you with tall infants, this product can be turned over and used as an infant support tub. I highly recommend this product, and as of today I am only able to find this product on-line and not available in any retail stores.

I thought this product would be wonderful since my seven month old really likes to sit up in the tub. I was still excited as I opened the box. Then I took it out of the box. This product is barely over half-full with the bean-bag beads. There is no support. When I pick it up, ALL the beads cascade to the bottom and leave the top half completely bead-free. The pictures don't really show the product you get. It's great as a LIMP beanbag. Nothing more. Since it is cloth, you also have to fill the entire bathtub while the water seeps through it. It does not hold its own water. I'm waiting to see if it dries in 24 hours.

I love this tub!!! I have been using it since my 5 month old's first tub bath and it is great. The infant side cradles a baby so they don't slide. My son is now 18 lbs and still fits fine on the infant side. It dries great and doesn't take up alot of room. Yes, you have to put it in the regular bathtub and fill that with water. But it only takes a minute to have enough water. I love that there is no hard plastic edges and that he will already be used to the regular tub when he's bigger.(I've had that problem with my other child) We will be using this tub for as long as possible.

Just bought this bath tub for my 10 month old, she barely fits in it with her legs stretched sitting upright, and the tub floats, so you have to actually hold the tub with one hand while holding the baby...and then it slips out from under the baby...its a disaster. Complete waste of money and annoying. Id put it back in the box and return it, but its a soaking wet beanbag now that weighs a ton, so I'm going to throw it away and write it off. I'd give it zero stars, but I couldnt choose that option. DONT BUY THIS.

The description of this item totally omits the fact that this is for children over one year according to the manufacturer. Also, for my active 9 month old, this tub is an invitation to reach into the surrounding water and hit her head on the side of the tub. I'm just using it until I can find a proper bath ring.

I decided to buy this item because of its great reviews and my daughter seemed to be outgrowing the first tub we had for her, which she loved. I hated this tub from the start and so did my 7 month old daughter, but I gave it a week to see if we could adapt. My daughter is a generally happy baby and rarely complains about anything. Every time I put her in the tub for her daily bath, she whines or cries a bit. She hates lying down in this thing. The beads do not provide enough support. The pictures are misleading concerning size. My daughter is about 20 lbs and has absolutely no room to move in this sitting up. She doesn't even try to move when she's in the reclined position; it's impossible. The drip dry hanger is not so convenient. It slips out. This thing gets so heavy because it holds so much water. I'm surprised I don't already have mildew growing. You can't wash this in the machine, so rinsing it is the cleanest it will get. I don't see how this thing can last very long without becoming permanently dirty. Going to purchase a new bath tomorrow. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Wish I could return it but I discarded the packaging the day we received it.

I used this for both my children and found it to be the ideal transition from young infant through toddler in a tub. It allows as little or as much water as is safe for age, is easy to dry and is truly an asset in any bathtub with babies. It is soft and cushions baby, and because it dries easy, feels comfortable, from the moment the baby gets in. The best tub for baby, once they outgrow the kitchen sink!

We searched long and hard to find the next step from the sink bath tub to the regular bath tub and when we saw this we thought we'd found what we were looking for. Unfortunately, our baby boy didn't buy it. We tried it twice and he just cried. We think it was the "confinement." We took him out and just put him in the tub and he was fine. Although we still have to worry about him bumping his head, he's happier. That being said, other babies may take to it and love it. Personally, we think it's a great idea and really wish he would have liked it. The product itself seems to be made well.
