I had high hopes for this shopping cart cover, and in some respects, it did deliver. Unfortunately it mostly goes unused, and we've started using one of the extra-large, elasticized "floppy" covers instead.

Basically, the cover is very well designed, it's just too small. I love the little side pillows, which can be removed as baby gets bigger. The pockets and toy straps are really useful, and the way the bag rolls up into a neat little duffel is pretty ingenious. The design for attaching the cover to the cart using Velcro would be terrific - if it fit! Unfortunately, this cover is too small to be used properly in an average size shopping cart. I tried it on the carts at Target, and there was no way I could actually wrap the front of the cover around the handle of the cart and attach it with the provided Velcro. If I had, the bottom of the leg openings would sit about five inches ABOVE the seat! I've examined the photo included with the product description closely and concluded that either the one they sent me is much smaller, or the shopping cart used for the photo is incredibly small.

Oh, and one other thing - the color and pattern. Not a big deal, but the color/pattern is not as pictured on the product description. It is indeed a "sage pin dot" - that is, it's sage green with white pin or polka dots.

Overall a great idea for a design, but poorly executed. Unless you're shopping at stores with tiny carts, I'd look for a different style of cart cover.

This is a wonderful, well-designed item for children who are capable of sitting in a shopping cart, but may not be big enough to fill up the seat. The pillows help the child feel secure. The straps for toys are a necessity. The entire package folds up nicely into a small duffle bag size with a built in handle. I have used this cover in the larger shopping carts (at Costco) as well as the smaller grocery carts. It easily adapts to both sizes. The cover comes in attractive neutral prints[..].

The first few times we went out to smaller stores with tiny carts, it seemed great. The we went to the grocery store: it's so small it won't stretch over the entire seating area to fasten on the handle. It doesn't cover the sides of most grocery store carts either, so my son was chewing on every exposed surface, defeating the purpose of the stupid thing. The pillows are a nice touch, but overall the cover is thin and uncomfortable and baby can't lie down comfortably (or at all) with this one. We are getting a BuggyBaby cover to replace this useless thing. The verdict? Cute but don't bother unless you only shop at very tiny stores with very tiny carts.

This cart cover is great. It is big, fluffy, and very "comfy". My daughter has leaned over and slept on the big side pillows several times. She seems very comfortable in this. The colors are cute too. It has two strings to attach toys to the front and has pockets on the back to put bottles, keys, checkbook, etc. Comes in very handle and folds back up into its own bag when finished.

After looking at many similar cart covers I settled on this one and love it! It provides great comfortable coverage and is easy to put in place with one hand. The side pillows are great especially for little ones who are still a bit wobbly. Worked well in the really big carts at Costco, too! Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it!

My daughter was 5 months when we bought this and not sitting on her own yet. We were moving from the infant carrier to a car seat and needed something for the carts and found this one. She loved being able to sit up and see everything so much better. The toy straps are great, no more of the pick it up game. It is too bulky for the restaurant wooden high chairs, i have to take one pillow out but then it works great for those also. My only wish is that there was some padding in the back also. All there is is the fabric so when she trys to sit up and then loses control and falls back its a pretty good bump. I have to take her blanket and put behind her for the padding.
I would highly recommend this cart cover. As a matter of fact, ive been stopped numerous times by other moms asking where to get one of their own. One mom is even switching from the one she has now to this one. I tell them to check Amazon.com for it. Much better pricing and fast shipping!!!

I received this cart cover as a gift, so I haven't reviewed many others, but we are very pleased with this one. It's made in the USA, and seems to be durable and well-constructed. It's great that it rolls up into itself for easy carrying. When installed in the cart, I like having the velcroed handle cover, and if I've spent too much time at the grocery store, my son enjoys being able to lean on the comfy pillows on either side of him as he dozes off! I never really use the pockets on the flap that hangs over the back, but maybe someday I'll find a use for them. I've had several people comment what a nice cover it is. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This was one of those items on my registry that people told me I didn't need or wouldn't use. That was wrong. I use it all the time!

Pros:
* The pillows on the sides are wonderful. I don't have to worry about my baby toppling over when I make a turn! She can also curl up and get comfy if she's tired.
* The part that wraps around the handle is good to keep her from sucking on the handle, but it also protects me from those grocery store germs too!
* The straps for the toys are a great idea so her toys don't end up on the floor
* It easily folds up into itself to make it easy to carry
* It's easy to set up on the cart with a baby in your arms
* It has its own adjustable belt strap - you don't have to use the gross ones in the cart
* It covers the WHOLE seat of the cart. There were a number of covers that I looked at that only covered part of the seat - what's the point?

Cons:
* It is a little small for some carts, but that hasn't stopped me from using it. The worst that happens is the back part won't go all the way over the back of the seat, which doesn't affect my daughter at all - it just means I can't use the pockets on the back.
* You'll want to go shopping more often once you have this, which will make you spend more $$ ( :) )

This is a great shopping cart cover. I purchased it after trying one of those loose ones that cover the cart. My 7 month old frequently falls asleep in the cart, and while our old one covered the cart to protect him from germs, it did nothing to cushion his sweet head from the hard metal. This one is so easy to put in the cart, and has fit all of the carts I've tried so far. It helps my little one stay upright, and has nice soft pillows for when he decides to doze off. It also has straps for toys and pockets for storage (great for tucking in my coupon holder and keys!). It was definitely worth the money and I am so happy I bought it. It also works great in restaurant highchairs too!

This cover fits Sam's club carts more or less,
It does not fit Wegmans or Target carts-
the seat is too deep, the handle is too far to be covered.
However, I like it. It has nice pillows on the sides, so the baby can't reach the sides of the cart.
