Love that you can hang toys on it for the baby.

Works great for teething babies who LOVE to bite on the crib rail and if you're concerned about them biting off paint chip.

I have a Davinci Kalani crib and the rail cover fits perfectly.

Why oh why didn't I get this before my son started teething on his beautiful, expensive crib? Unfortunately, I waited 3 weeks after he first started chewing on the crib (as it was sporadic). The cover is easy to install, and so far my 13 month hasn't even tried to remove it. I highly recommend anyone with a convertible crib purchase this and install it before their infant is able to pull themselves up to a standing position.

I got this teether guard because I have a convertible crib and liked the look of it. My son is 12 months old and has lots of teeth, so he likes to chew the crib railing when he gets mad or wants to get out. it works on and off. Somedays the teether guard is soaking wet cause he's sucked on it instead of biting the crib rail. But on other days he's managed to un-velcro the entire guard, so I constantly have to re-fasten it, ahh!

I'm giving this product two stars instead of one because it was a good idea. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for us.
We bought this product for our 18-month-old daughter. She was immediately curious and ripped it off of the crib. The attaching velcro is on the inside of the crib when installed (so it looks nicer), but this also gives the child easy access! The color was more like a dirty white than an ivory. The fabric was stiff and felt cheap. Also, when the product was installed, it was a fraction of an inch off on all of the bed rungs except for the end two. It looked a little sloppy on our crib, although it could be a better fit with another crib. We have the Lollipop crib by AP Industries. Our crib is completely squared off on the ends and the rungs, so I thought it would be easy to fit.
Bottom line: Didn't work, quickly ripped off by my daughter, looks cheap. I returned the product.

I give it 2 stars for being a good idea and it worked for about a month until little hands figured out the Velcro and now it is pretty useless. It can be removed from both inside and outside the crib no matter how it is positioned, so it does little to stop the teething on the rails.

The crib rail is easy to Velcro on, and the Velcro is pretty strong. We had a problem with our 8-month old taking the finish off of her crib with her two bottom teeth, but this seems to work. It is VERY padded, and because of this, it kind of looks ridiculous on her crib, but I don't worry about her eating the crib rail anymore! The style crib we have, the bar is very wide, and this fit perfectly. And it's so easy to wash, just put it right in the machine and the dryer.

it does exactly what i need it to...my only complaint would be that the velcro strips are in the wrong spots...only 3 of them actually fall between the slats, but it does look like an easy fix, when i have the time to do it. ;-)

As other reviewers have said, toddlers can undo the velcro. Two possible solutions are:

1) Put the velcro tabs on the outside of the crib where the baby can't reach. This has the disadvantage that some velcro is exposed on the outside of the crib to catch on Mom and Dad's clothes when putting the baby down.
2) Use the product inside out so vecro tabs are on the inside. The downside here is that you can't use the straps that hold teethers, but for me, that's not a big deal.

The bigger deal for me is that when I lean against the crib to put down my sleeping baby, sometimes I move slightly which is enough to put a little strain on the velcro and make a noise. Not what you want after spending 30 minutes rocking the baby to sleep!!!!

This cover is large, which is great for cribs with a really fat rail. But I am going to look for a different cover that uses ties (on the outside!) rather than velcro.

My son has one of those sleigh bed cribs and the rail is very wide...This cover fit over it perfectly..in fact,my son's crib looks just like the crib that is displayed in the photo. My son loves to play with the teething toys I put in the loops,it keeps him entertained. I definitely recomment buying this.
