Funny funny funny in the style of Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. Rick Spleen (Jack Dee) is the main character--a sort of fringe comedian who wants nothing more than personal fame and fortune. He frequently lies about his thoughts and actions to make himself seem like a stand-up guy and the results are often hilarious. Fantastic supporting cast. Just like Larry David, Rick often gets caught in a lie (he lies to an acquaintance at the gym about having cancer!) He is shameless! But oh what fun to watch!
