5.0 out of 5 stars An unique perspective to a challenging workplace, November 29, 2010
Wendy Duncan has truly embraced and exposed workplace trials and tribulations. Not only has she provided an insightful light to the current workplace landscape, but she has also introduced actionable tools that I can't wait to try. She gets straight to the heart of what is broken in today's workplace environment and identifies key areas that can be fixed. As an employee and manager, striving to be a leader, I am inspired by Lead Employees to Success and will use this book as a reference tool that will definitely not get dusty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intuitive, yet revolutionary look at management!, October 13, 2010
Duncan has really outdone herself. As a professional I have found myself on all sides of this paradigm; that of the employee, middle management, and business owner. Her vantage point comes from the employee and is a great representation of how misinterpreted managers can become in their employees' eyes if the person does not see themselves as a leader and move from that angle. She portrays these different types of management in a semi-"tongue and cheek" light offering a very non-fictional satire of how traditionally bad middle management is seen. If you are an employee looking to connect with a fellow employee and just have a good, wholesome laugh, or an aspiring management professional looking to up his/her game in the corporate world, read this book. It's both entertaining and educational.

5.0 out of 5 stars Leading Employees to Success is a great book to improve workplace relationships, October 6, 2010
Duncan's book is written from the employee's perspective and is intended to give insight to the managers of today what makes for effective communication with their employees. Using several methods, Duncan elaborates which means of communication is most effective when dealing with different types of employee personality types. It goes deep into relationship and trust building and how to build effective teams. It is a must for every manager who wants to do better him/herself by developing a team that supports him/her effectively. I know many employees who are going to slip this underneath the door to their boss' office.
