The list author says: "Leadership is a quality gained through respect and charisma: respect has to be earned, charisma is more enigmatic. This list sets out study material to help us gain these qualities.
Although I am a teacher, I feel that this material could be successfully applied to any similar work environment where the objectives are to communicate and motivate. We need good verbal skills, we need good non-verbal skills, and above all we need emotional intelligence. I aim to produce students who are well adjusted, self motivated, and enthusiastic individuals, and above all, students who love studying. The skills that I use to achieve this goal will provide similar rewards elsewhere.
I've also included a couple of my own books, which include a wealth of information, condensing years of study into a couple of workbooks. These draw from NLP, pragmatics, voice training, and many more fields."
"This tells us how we can use language to influence and inspire people. We can understand exactly how people 'connect' with words. The right sort of words will be infinitely more motivating than any badly chosen words."
