5.0 out of 5 stars Best nursing bra yet
Let me start by saying, I just had my 3rd child, my last 2 being 17 months apart. So I have been pregnant/nursing for the last 2.5 years straight. In this time frame, I have tried many, many different nursing bras. I started with a few that were sold at the maternity store, yeah, that was a joke. Definitely not supportive enough for larger breasts, that are heavy...

2.0 out of 5 stars Sizing very incorrect
I don't know who sizes these products but the cup size is too big by at least 2. I ordered the 36D, and it was massively too big even for the 2 days when my milk came in that I was very engorged. It's useless. Order small and return it if you need to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best nursing bra yet, November 18, 2011
Let me start by saying, I just had my 3rd child, my last 2 being 17 months apart. So I have been pregnant/nursing for the last 2.5 years straight. In this time frame, I have tried many, many different nursing bras. I started with a few that were sold at the maternity store, yeah, that was a joke. Definitely not supportive enough for larger breasts, that are heavy especially during the initial stages of breast feeding. They did offer an underwire bra, but with the sling only on the outside of the bra, this was constantly pushing my breasts to the center and together, sort of like a push up effect. Not comfortable. Then I went to a specialty bra store by my house and bought a very expensive Goddess non-underwire bra, as underwire is not particularly recommended for nursing. I wasn't crazy about the seams in the center of the cup of the bra, "for added support", nor was I crazy about the torpedo like shape it gave my breasts, and the fact that I couldn't wear it under many shirts as it came so high, it was visible under pretty much everything but a t-shirt. After a few hours of wearing, the thick band that was to replace the underwire would roll up and dig into my sides and under my breasts. Epic failure, at a high price. Next I tried Bravado, only to find that their much raved about wireless bra was the same story as the rest, not enough support for a larger breasted 3rd time breast feeding mom. Then I was onto a LaLeche underwire nursing bra. It was supportive enough, comfortable, and the straps didn't show through terribly underneath my shirts. However, it had the seam across the cup, giving my breasts a funny shape, and the seam showed through all my shirts that were semi-fitted. Onto the Medela underwire bra. Which remained my favorite until now. It had support, didn't give me a torpedo shape, and had the sling on all sides for added support and to keep my breasts from mashing together. However, it too showed under much of my shirts as it's straps were wide and high, and it had no padding. Not good for a time when your nipples are very sensitive to stimulation. Now that I've just had my 3rd son, I tried this bra. I could not say enough good things about it. I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from?? It is just as supportive as my Victoria's Secret's I used to wear prior to becoming a milk machine. It has an inner sling on all side of your breasts, not just on the outside. And one reviewer referred to them as elastic, I'm not sure if her bra is a much older version, but they are definitely not elastic. It is soft, thick cotton, no stretch to it. This is what adds extra support, and like I said, prevents the mashed together effect. It is not constrictive in any way. The bra is very comfortable, and is not visible under any of my clothing, unless I am wearing something very low cut that probably needs a tank or cami underneath anyway. The one and only thing that I can think of that isn't perfect about this bra is that the padding is on the thicker side. Which is only a problem when you are trying to nurse, you kind of have to fold the cups over and tuck it down, otherwise it would get in the way. But it's held up suprisingly well in the wash (I use the hand wash cycle on my machine and line dry), and is a fraction of the cost of other nursing bras. I am thrilled with this bra. Maybe a reason I love it so much (not just for comfort and support) is because it is comparative to a normal, non-nursing bra. When I already feel like my body has been taken over by my babies, it would be nice to have a bra that is supportive, functional, and comfortable, but one that I also don't feel matronly in, one that I can wear underneath a sleeveless summer dress, and feel good about myself again. Not that I am defined by my status as a nursing mother. Anyway, my search for a good nursing bra has ended, now I just need to find a good sports bra for a running nursing mother.....

4.0 out of 5 stars nursing bra, February 28, 2008
Very comfortable and functional. A little hard to operate with one hand while holding a squirming infant. Cup is a little too cone shaped for my liking, but otherwise I am happy with the product

2.0 out of 5 stars Nursing Bra, October 24, 2008
The bra could have been made better without the elastic staps that surround the breast. It is uncomfortable

1.0 out of 5 stars not great!!!!, August 28, 2008
I bought this bra and when I got it washed and dryed it as the directions stated. When I put it on immediately the wire popped out and stabbed me. I am not happy with this bra and I plan to contact Leadin Lady. The sad thing is besides the wire coming out it fits really well. To Bad.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great!, July 21, 2008
I loved this bra. I was looking everywhere for a molded nursing bra and was very excited when I found this one. It works great and for only $26 it is a steal! So far it is holding up well with washing too.

It'll get the job done, but the sides come out so your whole breast isn't covered. I feel like I'm not protected. If I got a size up then the sides would stick out. I just don't feel covered.
