This book and workbook are very helpful. I believe that Christian leaders whether Senior Pastors, Assistant Pastors, Youth Pastors, missionaries, or lay leaders all have a struggle within when it comes to leading. The problem is that many never talk about it to others. Leading with a Limp brings this struggle into perspective and enlightens the passage that God uses the weak things of this world. If you struggle as a leader in any way this book will be a great help. His discussion on reluctant leaders makes so much sense.

Many spend a lot of time perfecting their skills inorder to improve and maximize their job or leadership efficiency. This author challenges us to maximize that efficiency from a place within that many dare to explore and/or develop. This is absolutely a "must read" for the leader who wants to be the best s/he can be.

As a leadership development consultant in both churches and public organizations, this is the finest book on leadership I have ever read...including all of the reading for my Masters in Coaching in Organizations.
Allender is to be commended for the book and the intensely personal and developmentally probing questions in the workbook. I will be using this for the next leadership class I facilitate!!!

This is an excellent book on CD. I get to listen over chapters that I needed to review.
