There is not much more to add about the story than what the product description says, which is the first problem I have with this book. For an espionage thriller, it's really not much of a thrill, it's all pretty dull, despite the luscious art and the competent writing. This reminds me heavily of that Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie with Brangelina, because of the half-heated attempts at humour and banter and because of the secrets and cover-ups, but with much less action and fun. I was excited by the plot twist towards the end, which would have called for an open ending and a sequel, but there were none. It reads like a boring movie pitch, despite the potential for entertainment and the talent involved, and it's really just saved by the authors themselves.

I heard about this book from the ifanboy weekly video show #43, and thought the story of a major movie star that was acutally an agent of the US government was really interesting. I enjoyed the story a lot but before I knew it I was done reading. I would suggest this book to anyone that likes a good fun read, but try not to pay over $10 for this trade.
