Understand Group Process and Train Leaders,

This review is from: Leading Small Groups: Basic Skills for Church and Community Organizations (Paperback)
For the part of Leadership that can be learned- that isn't that charismatic indefinable quality- this book is the best. Train all committee members to be leaders and to understand what goes on among them as they work or learn. Group dynamics are not an exact science but neither are they a huge mystery, and this book pulls together solid organizational theory to give a very practical guide to understanding and working with groups. I recommend it highly to all in church leadership (including and especially lay folks.)

A powerhouse of information packed into one paperback.,

After critiquing quite a few books, Turner's was by far the best. This can be used by leaders and participants. This book is better than buying several individual books.
