Healthy, "User-Friendly" Diet Plan,

I found this book to be very easy to use. I had tried to follow other diets such as The Zone but they were too complicated. The emphasis in this book is on fresh food--especially leafy green vegetables with recipes that are quick and easy to prepare. I don't cook so the easy part is very important to me. The writing style is conversational and fun. The carbohydrate counter is useful as are the suggested menus. Weight loss is relatively painless using this plan.

This is a wonderful book. I love how easy it is to follow along and the recipes are delicious. My family has really enjoyed trying the different recipies and I know that we're eating healthier.

Starting a diet has never been easier! After reading LEAF YOUR WEIGHT BEHIND, I was pleasantly surprised to find a diet that is not only simple to follow, but includes easily found ingredients for receipes! In fact, I already had most of the ingredients in my kitchen. After losing twenty pounds, I highly recommend this book to anyone that is serious about shedding extra pounds!

A small book of only 116 pages, 43 of them blank, memo, or title pages! The balance which is substantive is referenced material from other low-carbohydrate diet texts. Nothing new here!

Thin for life in Africa,

I am a missionary in eastern africa and have tried for 7 years to loose my FAT and nothing has worked NOTHING. But after reading this book and following the plan i felt like i had hope to do this and loose my weight. Writing down what I ate each day kept me on track and after a month i have lost 6lbs. I love the recipes and the whole idea of the book. This little book has changed my life and made such a difference in the way I eat.

How refreshing to have some new recipes for healthy eating. Short and to the point anyone can follow this simplified plan. This book reads like a conversation with a friend...easy. It gives you all the facts you need and some great new ways to think about your choices for a healthy life. Short, Simple and to the point... just the Facts. Great Read and it works!

Fat in the Midwest,

This book caught my eye, because the cover picture looks so fresh! Then, when I read it, I found it enjoyable to read. I was encouraged when I saw how simple it can be to eat right and get the weight off. The recipes are a bonus and have all the "counts" included. I was glad I could still eat KC strip, too! I would recommend this book because it's easy to get right to the point and get started.

Let's face it in the real world people are fat! We eat such unhealthy food, and have such undisciplined eating habits -- we need help! I found this book reafeshing, new ideas, innovative concepts, very practical and easy to use. A must for anyone who wants to loose weight the right and healthy way. The author's introduction was sincere and helpful. I have had the pleasure of meeting Nancy Barnes -- she truely lives what she writes.

This is a very simple little book and it brings results! It has not been hard to stay on and I eat an assortment of wonderful foods. To me, it's been very much like like normal eating. My son tried it and lost easily, too! I think this book is worth it for the receipes alone, and is a great addition to any low carb library.

I have bought a lot of books on losing weight, this is so simple but yet so true. My doctor told me to do a low carb way of eating and I had heard of this book, I ordered it and received it today. I couldn't put it down.
