4.0 out of 5 stars Lime green was what I expected, March 14, 2010

Yes, this item is bright lime green -- which is how it looks on my monitor, so it's what I expected. The only part that's a bit odd, to me, is that the parts that look white in the picture are actually clear. So the image doesn't stand out as much as I'd hoped -- that's why I gave it four stars instead of five.
It also smelled really, really strong at first, but after I aired it out for a week, the smell went away completely.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dang thats bright, February 16, 2011

I was very excited to get this...and when I opened it it was kinda like waiting your whole life for a pony and finally getting a three legged one. The smell was bad and my boyfriend thinks its the ugliest thing hes ever seen. I'm very stubborn and I bought it with our money...so I now see it as a challenge! I am going to have a great, awesome, neon bathroom. Searching for accesories today to make it work. Has potential.

3.0 out of 5 stars I was so excited! But this did not live up to my expectations..., August 10, 2010
This review is from: 20,000 Leagues SCIENCE FICTION Shower CURTAIN Nemo NU
I have to agree with every other point made by the previous posters: 1.) The thing absolutely reeks when you first take it out. So bad in fact, one worries if you're being exposed to some kind of brain cell damaging toxins. Definitely air this out before hanging in your bathroom. 2.) Perhaps I need to adjust the color settings on my laptop too, because the color I was expecting was more of a mellow kiwi green - this is in fact closer to neon yellow green. If you're looking for something to brighten up the room, then this is your dream come true! Also as stated by others, the detail is in fact in clear fabric, lessening the impact I think of the overall design.

Also to note: If you have a small bathroom, as do I (my closet is bigger), then I would advise against one big graphic design on your shower curtain. It just doesn't translate well in such a tiny space. Instead, I'm going to opt for a pattern of smaller designs, as I had previously.
