I really liked this book and looked forward to reading it every chance I got. It never put me to sleep, like similar related books on the subject have. I found it to be a great introduction to Lean Maintenance while also covering aspects related to RCM, PM, PdM, 5S, and 6sigma. It thouroughly covers the basics of all these topics in relation to Lean. I would recommend this book to be read by all maintenance professionals and people interested in Lean concepts. I will look forward to reading other books books by Levitt and the Industrial Press to see it they meet the standard that this one has set.

This book provided excellent information in an interesting manner which keeps it fresh throughout. It was a great introduction to Lean Maintenance principles with good up to date detail about RCM, PM, PdM, 5S, and 6sigma. The book thoroughly covered the basics of all these topics. I positively recommend this book for maintenance professionals and those interested in Lean concepts.
