About the Author

Arianna Hart lives on the East Coast with her husband and three daughters. When not teaching, writing, or chasing after her children and the dog, Ari likes to practice her karate, go for long walks, and read by the pool. She thinks heaven is having a good book, warm sun, and a drink in her hand. Until she can sit down long enough to enjoy all three, she'll settle for the occasional hour of peace and quiet.

Plot:
A series of events leads Jane to risk her life to save neighbour Lex and bring down a major drug trafficking operation.

Comments:
- 4064 kindle locations, 224 pages (but story winds up around location 3850).
- Sex is all m/f but this is a "spicy" romantic suspense, loving, generous, explicit but not frequent.
- Lots of violence against and by Jane, but she comes out a winner.

Opinion:
A nice story of a woman finding her inner strength and showing her true colours. Jane learns how to be courageous while terrified, to move outside her comfortable world and how to give all of herself. It's an exciting story which never gives up and a really interesting, achievable HEA. Why not?

Dr. Jane Farmer is having a really bad day. First, she is fired by cell phone of all things. Then she figures out she has signed for a package that doesn't belong to her but her neighbor. To top it off, her apartment is trashed. For a marriage and family therapist who does a public talk radio show, this is an extreme day. Maybe if she just goes to bed, the next day will be better. Well, first she has to find a bed.

Lex D'Angelo, a former FBI agent, has no idea what is going on at his complex, but that many cops around makes him nervous. Lex decides to ask questions before confronting the cops and he knows just the person to ask: his neighbor Dr. Farmer. From the moment Lex surprises Jane, they are on the run. The first problem being neither knows why or who's after them.

Jane and Lex have hardly ever talked to one another and have some misconceptions about the other. Being on the run and having to figure things out on the fly shows both Lex and Jane that maybe they were wrong. They are both surprised when the tension turns into live sparks. To grab the bad guy, it takes both Jane's training and Lex's experience. When things don't go quite as hoped, can Jane use her current and past knowledge to keep them both alive? What about their budding relationship?

Leap of Faith kept me flipping the pages fast and furiously. I had to know if Jane was going to show her inner self to sexy Lex and if Lex could discover what even Jane didn't know existed. Jane has worked hard to re-establish herself after a bad break up. Men were not on her calendar. Lex has an Italian's love of women, but knows better than to get involved. Or so he thinks.

I liked that the H and h grew in characters during their flight hiding from the bad guys. The author did a wonderful job and I won't hesitate to get another one of her books.

Jane Farmer couldn't imagine a worse day. She was fired from her radio show as a marriage and relationship therapist, someone had broken into her home and ransacked the entire place, and then when she was on her way to a hotel for the night, a man surprised her from the back seat of her car. She wasn't very relieved to find out it was her neighbor Lex D'Angelo because she didn't know him at all, and had a very hard time believing the story he was feeding her. According to Lex, his former partner at Elite Investigation Services had been killed while in the line of duty. She had sent him some files which had been delivered to Jane in error, and that was why they must flee for their lives. Until he was able to figure out what was going on, they were both in danger.

Jane couldn't believe what was happening. She led a relatively quiet life, and everything that had transpired has left her dazed. Lex hated operating in the dark, and decided that they had to find out what they were dealing with. They had to infiltrate the ministry under investigation, and eliminate the threat, so that led them to the area surrounding the compound in question. When she found herself out in the wilderness alone with Lex hiding out, the lustful feelings between them burned out of control. They both just hoped that they would survive to explore the feelings growing between them.

What an exciting suspenseful read! Just when I thought the danger was over, another element would surface to threaten them. Lex and Jane don't really seem like a compatible couple on paper, but they have incredible chemistry, and their separate strengths paid off when the chips were down. Don't miss this one!!
