I'm a long-time Tingstad & Rumbel fan and I like this CD very much. The pairing of Eric's fingerstyle guitar and Nancy's woodwind virtuosity always creates a lovely sound and it all comes together beautifully here. It's the sound of a happy spring morning in the park. Unlike many T&R albums, this one is a mix of their adaptations of some well known tunes (like Summertime and Georgia on my Mind) with some great new original compositions (Zacatecas, To Life, and Leap of Faith stand out). It also includes a new version of Medicine Tree and fittingly concludes with their lively & whimsical interpretation of Happy Trails.
