This review is from: Leap Second Neutral (Audio CD)
Machine and the Synergetic Nuts - Leap Second Neutral hit me like a frenzied Chill Out disc on first listen. Take Pop jazz (any soprano sax pop jazz band) stuff and have Massive Attack vs. The Mad Professor AND Squarepusher, add odd time signatures that the listener does NOT really notice, mix it with Hugh Hopper & Robert Wyatt and you have a great ride! This band from Japan is tight, hard, melodic and driving with supreme musicianship.

Every song on the disc is good. Texas is a hard driving, infectious masterpiece! There is not a bad track on the disc. Gets a daily listen from me and I am updating this in April. Excellent spin!
