This game is too simple in nature. There are three levels which indicate that the addition question just gets slightly harder. There is only one very simple repetative main game, throwing food at the monster with the correct answer and a simple round of eating snacks before the timer runs out. Other Leapster games are more elaborate. The kids are not interested in this one because there isn't much to it. When you buy online it is hard to read the box and deduce the game details. I got it on sale for about half price, at least.

This is a cute Leapster game..not a wide variety of different games, but still good for the Scooby-Doo lover. My son plays it regularly. What is nice about this game is you can pick 2 players and have your kids play against each other or you.
Level 3 is hard...much more difficult math problems, which is very good! Worth the money!

This game is fun for my child(age 4) but its not as educational as I would have liked. He played it some but he likes several of the other leapster games better.(cars, dora, letterpillar) The game is ok but if your kids not a big scobby fan I would get several of the other games first.

My 5 year old daughter is a huge Scooby Doo fan. She loves anything with Scooby Doo and was excited to find this game. So when I finally got this game for her, the excitement wore off quickly. She loves many of her other Leapster games that offer various games to play and different levels. This game only does the one game with the same objective of throwing food at monsters when you answer a math problem correctly. Not what I expected at all! I would check out the other Scooby Doo game for Leapster 2 as that may have more options for the kids to play.

We have quite a few Leapster game and this is by far the worst. The others have several games to choose from; this has just one. I got this for my Scooby Doo- obsessed five-year old and he was bored after a few minutes. He hasn't played it since the first time. He kept looking for other things to do, but all you can do is feed Scooby or Shaggy snacks over and over. Other games we love for Leapster: Cars, Up, Number Raiders, & Nemo.

No instructions available,

I just want potential buyers to know that we received this game without instructions. Since we have many Leapster cartridges and they all came with a booklet, I contacted the company and was told that since it was a new game the instructions aren't ready and I could get a copy of them off their website in 4-6 weeks.
I realize that many of these games are self-explanatory, but who sends a game out to the stores with no instructions???? |
